Fabric Specifications

Sun Protection – AS/NZS 4399:1996

Bisley Workwear is tested to Australian Standard for Sun Protective clothing AS/NZ 4399:1996, and can be identified by our special sun protection logo. Look for it on our garments or speak to one of our customer service team for more information.

Stain ReGuard

Many Bisley garments are treated with our special stain release formula to help the laundering process and guard against dirt and stains. Look for the special ‘stain reguard’ logo.

Moisture Control

The Australian workplace can get hot and sweaty and to help your workers stay cooler look for moisture control garments in cotton backed hydrophilic. The moisture control feature draws perspiration away from the skin enabling a faster cooling process.

3M Scotchlight Reflective Material

Scotchlight Reflective Material 8910 Silver Fabric is composed of wide angle, exposed retrofeflective lenses bonded to a durable cloth backing. Please note that the Bisley items that have reflective tape in this catalogue use the 3M 8910 quality. Other 3M tapes are available upon request.

Hi Vis – Safety AS/NZS 4602:1999

Bisley Safetywear garments are tested to ensure they comply with the Australian standards for High Visibility. The Standard covers the visual requirements for high visibility safety garments worn in situations where they may be exposed to hazards from moving traffic or within a shared work place.

Hi Vis – Reflective Material AS/NZS 1906.4

The Australian Standard specifies the photometric, colorimetric and physical property requirements for high visibility materials for outdoor daytime use, reflective materials for night use or a combination of both. Bisley Workwear only uses materials that comply with the Australian Standards.

Industrial Clothing – AS 2919 - 1987

The Australian Standard specifies the design and the performance requirements for Industrial Clothing Intended primarily for protecting the wearers clothes from dirt, soilage, wear and tear. It does not apply to garments designed for protection from specific hazards such as fire and chemicals.

Anti Static – AS/NZS 1020:1995

The Australian Standard sets our recommendations for the control of Static Electricity which are generated incidentally by processes or activities which may prove hazardous in certain environments. Bisley Workwear identifies garments that comply with the anti static requirements. Look for the anti static logo for quick selection of these items.
